How to add page numbers

Put page numbers on a PDF

Starting somewhere other than 1
Set Start at when the document continues from an earlier part — for example a second volume that should begin at 51. Tick Skip the first page when a cover or title sheet should stay clean; numbering then begins on page two.
Style and placement
Bottom centre is the standard for reports and assignments. Bottom right suits documents that will be bound on the left. 1 / 10 is useful when a reader needs to know whether pages are missing — handy for anything sent by post or fax. Numbers are drawn inside the page margin, so they will not cover your content.
